Chicago Photojournalism Classes: My Students

This past quarter, I had the pleasure of teaching Photojournalism to both the undergrad and graduate students at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.   These students had no previous knowledge of photography, and had to learn all the basics.   We shot outdoors on Northwestern’s beautiful lakefront, the courtyard, and, my personal favorite, the basement of Fisk Hall.    This is where my students finally understand how to shoot in low light!

Thanks, everyone!   Winter quarter, you’re up next!

Ari S - Candice, I wish I was one of your students. They’re so lucky!
