Courtney and Luke…

Courtney and Luke married in Rome and had a party for friends and relatives in Chicago after their wedding.   We had a quick portrait session before the party, and I loved it when Luke suggested visiting the mural from The Blues Brothers, which is one of my favorite movies.

The mural that is the backdrop for dancing in the street while Ray Charles sings still exists… there are now some trees and very interested bystanders, but I was so happy to visit this landmark that I included the scene from the movie at the end of this post just in case you wanted to shake your tail feather!

We had a mini session at The Wit before the party.

Luke is such a gentleman… he found his wife a board to stand on so her heels wouldn’t sink into the ground!
